Custom Pallets, Built Your Way
When standard pallets do not fit your product, your facility, or your supply chain requirements, we design and manufacture custom pallets to your exact specifications. Any size, any capacity, any treatment — all from our Denver production facility.
From Concept to Delivery
Our five-step custom pallet process ensures you get a product that is perfectly engineered for your application. Most custom orders are delivered within 7 to 10 business days from design approval.
Consultation & Requirements
We start by understanding your application. What products will the pallet carry? How much do they weigh? What is the shipping environment? Will the pallet be racked, stacked, or placed on the floor? Do you need international compliance? We gather every detail to ensure the final product meets your needs perfectly.
Design & Engineering
Our team designs the pallet to your exact specifications. We select the optimal wood species, board thickness, fastener type, and construction method to achieve your required load capacity. For complex applications, we can create load-tested prototypes before full production.
Material Sourcing
We source lumber from our recycled inventory whenever possible, reducing cost and environmental impact. For applications requiring new lumber, we use sustainably harvested wood from certified suppliers. Composite and recycled lumber alternatives are also available.
Manufacturing & Treatment
Your custom pallets are built in our Denver facility by experienced craftsmen. Each pallet passes through quality inspection. If ISPM-15 heat treatment is required, pallets are processed in our certified kiln and stamped with the official compliance mark.
Delivery & Ongoing Supply
We deliver to your location across the Colorado Front Range. For recurring orders, we set up a production schedule so your custom pallets are always available when you need them. Volume pricing improves with consistent orders.
Choose Your Materials
We offer a range of material options to match your performance requirements, budget, and sustainability goals. Our team can recommend the best material for your specific application.
Recycled Softwood
Repurposed pine, spruce, or fir lumber from our pallet recycling pipeline. The most affordable and eco-friendly option for standard-duty custom pallets.
New Softwood
Fresh-cut pine or spruce from sustainably managed forests. Required for some food-grade and pharmaceutical applications where recycled material is not permitted.
Hardwood (Oak, Maple)
Superior strength and wear resistance for heavy-duty industrial pallets. Recommended for loads exceeding 4,000 lbs or pallets subject to extreme handling.
Recycled Composite Lumber
Engineered boards made from recycled wood fibers and binding agents. Consistent performance, moisture-resistant, and a strong eco-friendly choice.
Plywood Deck
Plywood top decks provide a smooth, continuous surface with no gaps. Ideal for small items, bags, and products that could fall through standard deck board spacing.
Combination / Hybrid
Mix materials for optimal cost and performance. For example, hardwood stringers with softwood deck boards, or a plywood top deck on a recycled lumber base.
Heat Treatment & ISPM-15 Certification
If your pallets will cross international borders, they must comply with ISPM-15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15). This regulation requires all wood packaging material used in international trade to be heat-treated to eliminate pests that could harm foreign ecosystems.
Our Denver facility is a certified ISPM-15 heat treatment provider. We process pallets in our temperature-controlled kiln, bringing the core wood temperature to a minimum of 56 degrees Celsius (133 degrees Fahrenheit) for at least 30 minutes. After treatment, each pallet is stamped with the internationally recognized compliance mark that includes our facility ID and treatment code (HT).
Without this stamp, your wood pallets will be rejected at international customs checkpoints, potentially delaying your shipment and incurring costly fines. We ensure full compliance so your export shipments move smoothly across borders.
ISPM-15 Requirements
- Core temperature of 56°C (133°F) for 30 minutes
- Official IPPC compliance stamp on every pallet
- Treatment documented and traceable
- Applies to all wood packaging in international trade
- Non-compliance can result in shipment rejection and fines
Countries Requiring ISPM-15
Virtually all countries require ISPM-15 compliance for wood packaging materials. This includes all European Union member states, Canada, Mexico, China, Australia, Japan, South Korea, India, Brazil, and most other trading nations. If you are shipping internationally on wood pallets, ISPM-15 treatment is effectively mandatory.
Custom Sizing & Load Engineering
We build custom pallets in any dimension from 24 x 24 inches up to 96 x 96 inches. For each custom size, our team calculates the optimal board layout, stringer or block configuration, and fastener pattern to achieve your target load capacity with the minimum amount of material.
This engineering approach means you get a pallet that is strong enough for your load without overspending on unnecessary thickness or extra boards. We also factor in your racking system dimensions, forklift specifications, and trailer measurements to ensure a perfect fit throughout your supply chain.
Not sure what size you need? Use our pallet size guide for industry-standard recommendations, or contact us for a free consultation. We are happy to visit your facility to measure and assess your requirements in person.
Branding & Identification Options
Custom pallets can be branded with your company logo, part numbers, or handling instructions. Branding improves asset tracking, deters theft, and reinforces your brand throughout the supply chain. We offer several branding methods:
Heat Branding (Burned-In Logo)
Permanent logo or text burned into the wood surface. Extremely durable and cannot be removed, making it ideal for asset tracking across multi-cycle pallet pools.
Stencil Painting
Company name, logo, or color-coded markings spray-painted through precision stencils. High visibility for warehouse identification and sorting.
Color-Coded Pallets
Paint the entire pallet or specific boards in your brand colors. Useful for distinguishing pallet types, departments, or product lines in mixed-use warehouses.
RFID & Barcode Tags
Embedded RFID chips or durable barcode labels for digital tracking. Compatible with most warehouse management systems (WMS) for real-time inventory visibility.
Minimum Orders & Lead Times
Minimum Order
Our standard minimum order for custom pallets is 50 units. For simple modifications to standard sizes (like adjusted height or extra deck boards), we can sometimes accommodate smaller quantities. Contact us to discuss your needs.
Standard Lead Time
From design approval to delivery, most custom orders are completed within 7 to 10 business days. Rush orders may be available with a 3 to 5 day turnaround depending on material availability and production capacity.
Volume Pricing
Per-unit pricing decreases with larger orders. We offer tiered pricing at 50, 200, 500, and 1,000+ units. For ongoing supply contracts, we lock in pricing for up to 12 months to protect you from material cost fluctuations.
Recurring Order Programs
If you need a steady supply of custom pallets, we offer recurring order programs with guaranteed production slots. Tell us your weekly or monthly volume, and we will set up a production schedule that ensures your pallets are always ready when you need them. Recurring orders enjoy priority scheduling, locked pricing, and dedicated account management.
For businesses with fluctuating demand, we also offer blanket purchase orders where we pre-approve your custom design and maintain a buffer inventory at our facility. You draw from this inventory as needed and pay only for what you use. Learn more about our pallet management programs.
When You Need Custom Pallets
Oversized Equipment
HVAC units, industrial machinery, and aerospace components that exceed standard 48x40 dimensions need a custom-built pallet with engineered load support.
Export Shipments
International freight requires ISPM-15 compliant pallets that may also need to meet foreign size standards (EUR, Asia-Pacific). We build to any international spec.
Heavy Industrial Loads
Loads exceeding standard pallet capacities need reinforced construction with hardwood components, additional stringers, or steel hardware.
Automated Systems
Automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) require pallets with precise dimensions and weight tolerances. Custom builds ensure compatibility.
Retail Display
Half pallets, quarter pallets, and branded display pallets designed to go directly from the truck to the retail floor. Custom finishes and graphics available.
Fragile Products
Glass, ceramics, electronics, and other fragile goods benefit from custom pallets with cushioned decks, anti-vibration features, and precision-fit crating.
